Jamie Colby
Colby, National News Anchor and Correspondent for Fox News has worked there since July of 2003. Colby served as anchor, reporter and correspondent for CBS News prior to moving to FOX News Channel. Colby worked as a stand-in as a reporter and anchor for CBS Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is an attorney who has been licensed to be a lawyer in New York, California, Florida and in the District of Columbia. She's been honored with awards such as the Edward R. Murrow National Award in 2002, for her coverage of the September 11 attacks, the Gracie Award for investigative reporting in 2000, and the Clarion Award from the Association for Women in Communications. The award also included her as Television Week's "Rising News Stars to Keep an Eye On". Colby worked as an attorney who, along with her professional career as a journalist, also worked for more than 10 years in private practice. The law firm she joined began by working with a Hollywood entertainment firm, which invited her to The Tonight Show. At the age of 22, Colby began her career as a reporter as well as host of Johnny Carson, both during the renewal of his contract with NBC with him and his divorce. In January 2015, Colby has served as host and reporter on the Fox Business show, Strange Inheritance, which covers quirky or unforeseen legacy assets left by relatives or friends
